Product Description
The rotary kiln plays a crucial role in the processing of antimony ore. The entire process begins with a belt conveyor, which steadily and continuously transports the raw antimony ore-the raw antimony ore-to the rotary kiln. Inside the kiln, the ore is roasted at temperatures of 800-900°C, effectively desulfurizing it. Desulfurized ore fines are discharged from the discharge port and then precisely fed by a feeder into the next stage: the rotary kiln.
The rotary kiln is a core piece of equipment in the entire processing process. Here, the fines undergo high-temperature reduction and smelting to produce crude antimony metal. Furthermore, the rotary kiln serves the crucial task of providing heat for the rotary kiln. This energy recycling improves the efficiency of the entire process and reduces energy consumption.
The hot flue gas generated by the smelting process then enters a circular flue for initial cooling. It then passes through a dust collector, where the small amount of valuable antimony trioxide contained within is effectively recovered. Finally, the flue gas enters a desulfurization tower for final desulfurization and purification, ensuring that it meets environmental emission standards. To obtain refined antimony or antimony trioxide, a series of subsequent processes are required. During the high-temperature reduction stage, crude antimony is added to a refining furnace along with a refining agent for refining, resulting in pure antimony liquid. To obtain antimony ingots, the liquid antimony flows into a continuous casting machine. The hot ingots are then automatically grasped, stacked, and bundled by a robotic stacker for packaging. To obtain antimony oxide powder, the liquid antimony is oxidized in a refining furnace (oxidation furnace) to produce antimony trioxide. At high temperatures, the antimony trioxide evaporates and enters a dust removal system, where the antimony trioxide powder is collected.
From antimony ore to final product, the rotary furnace operates throughout the entire process. It not only plays a key role in the smelting process but also, through collaboration with other equipment, ensures efficient and environmentally friendly operation of the entire process. It is precisely this core piece of equipment, the rotary furnace, that enables the transformation of antimony ore into various valuable products, providing a solid material foundation for the development of related industries.
