1. Classification of mainstream pyrometallurgical antimony smelting processes
a. Volatilization roasting/smelting-reduction smelting process
Principle: Antimony is volatilized into Sb2O3 (antimony oxide powder) through oxidation, and then reduced to metallic antimony.
Applicable objects: antimony sulfide ore, mixed sulfide and oxygen ore, and complex ores containing precious metals.
b. Precipitation smelting process
Principle: Replace the antimony in antimony sulfide with iron, and directly produce crude antimony (Sb2O3 + 3Fe → 2Sb + 3FeS).
Applicable objects: high-grade antimony sulfide lump ore or raw antimony (Sb2O3).
Equipment: reverberatory furnace or short-tube furnace.
Advantages: short process, no need for volatilization-reduction two steps; Limitations: high requirements for raw material grade (>45%), high iron consumption, and difficult impurity control.
2. Process selection recommendations
Raw material type Recommended process Supporting measures
Low-grade lump ore (<30% Sb): It is recommended to use the "conventional volatilization of rotary kiln + rotary furnace reduction and waste heat recovery" process, with enhanced dust collection.
High-grade powder ore (>60% Sb): It is recommended to use the "rotary kiln flash roasting + tail gas acid production" process, with an automated injection system
Complex ore containing precious metals: It is recommended to use the "blast furnace smelting + antimony gold separation" process, with precious antimony refining and purification
Secondary materials (anode mud/slag): It is recommended to use the "oxygen-enriched side blowing smelting or molten salt sulfur fixation" process to synergistically recover valuable metals.

2) Drawings delivery
Technical drawing will be send to the buyer after geting the deposite, so the buyer can build basic contruction before the furnace arrived.
3) Acceptance check before delivery
a. The supply of the inspection equipment complies with the scope of supply and technical specifications in the technical agreement.
b. Check the mechanical actions of the equipment.
4) Installation & debugging & worker training
a. Cooperate with guidance to check the buyer installation work;
b. Internal and electrical wiring connections between equipment;
c. Site commissioning;, according to the actual equipment adjust to the best state;
d. Direct buyer operating personnel to the correct use of operating equipment;
e. Guidance on site security considerations;
f. To guide the buyer maintenance personnel troubleshooting methods;
g. Provide equipment specification;
5) other related equipment for your casting project, such as aluminum ingot maker, mould for mill balls, continous casting machine, ect.
